From the CEO: Australian Standards Team updates cluster members on their role in advanced composite and fibre

This month we welcomed a number of missions to the cluster to meet our key members. We were privileged to have the Australian Standards Team join us for an update on the Standards environment.

Members from the team joined Cluster Members for an update on the Standards’ role in Advanced Composite and Fibres and toured members, CARBON NEXUS, HEIQ, AUSTENG and IFM during their visit. We are extremely excited to announce that the AFCG is now a Nominating Organisation and has been approved by the Australian Standards Committee.

Please reach out to myself and become involved with Standards in the future. We will provide a detailed update soon.

Our Webinar will be with the team from SAGE automations, providing us with an update on INDUSTRY 4.0 , including some key examples of real world applications.

With thanks to Mr Gareth William, principal at Nukon who has delivered digital transformation strategy, consulting, and projects as well as managing a portfolio of projects across manufacturing and infrastructure companies throughout Australia and New Zealand and presented on a number of “real world” applications within the INDUSTRY 4.0 space and showed how INDUSTRY 3.0 can evolve.

Gareth also shared how Nukon strategises and uses a PDCA model to produce results for clients. Gareth’s wealth of knowledge in digital transformation across manufacturing and utilities specialising in industry 4.0 solutions was clear.

The video will be uploaded to the Members area of the AFCG Website soon.
