Who We Are
The Advanced Fibre Cluster Geelong is an initiative of a group of highly innovative companies and organisations aimed at accelerating the growth of the advanced fibre and composites industries that continue to develop around Deakin University and the region.
The region is a centre of excellence in advanced fibre and composites manufacturing and innovation. The Cluster promotes and supports the interests of its members through the facilitation of research and business collaboration, access to opportunities, trade missions and site visits, advocacy, training, and the sharing of management and technical best practice.
The Advanced Fibre Cluster Geelong includes the following members: ACS Australia, Andritz, Austeng, Carbon Revolution, City of Greater Geelong, CSIRO, Deakin University/Carbon Nexus, Geelong Manufacturing Council, GMS Composites, HeIQ, Industrial Control Technology, Partington AE, Quickstep, Sykes Racing, The Gordon TAFE and Urban Service Solutions. The membership is growing.
